LSF R-CTFL Roundtable – 21 August 2024
The Localisation Support Fund (LSF) invites select industry leaders and stakeholders to a Round Table discussion on our recent findings regarding the Clothing, Textile, and Footwear Leather manufacturing industry in South Africa.
Our technical experts have worked on initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and capacity, including production line optimization, SMV reduction, and process reviews. We look forward to sharing these impactful insights and engaging in a collaborative dialogue to shape future industry advancements.

Renewable Energy Roundtable - 24 January 2024
The Localisation Support Fund (LSF) will be hosting a Round Table discussion at which the LSF will report on its findings on Renewable Energy components in South Africa.
Discussions will focus on the value chains and existing technologies to identify the challenges and evaluate the opportunities that may exist to localise the manufacturing of Renewable Energy components in South Africa.

​Transmission and Distribution Roundtable - 27 September 2023
The Localisation Support Fund (LSF) will be hosting a Round Table discussion at which the LSF will report on its findings on the value chain mapping of local manufacturing capability in the Transmission and Distribution (T&D) Sector in South Africa.

Discussions will focus on the Transmission and Distribution value chain and the findings in the LSF’s report on South Africa’s T&D manufacturing capabilities and delivery.
Among other findings, the report will unpack proposed initiatives to promote and strengthen local manufacturing capabilities in the T&D value chain and opportunities for local manufacturing within this context.
The LSF is a non-profit company that was established in 2021 by private sector contributors committed to the localisation of manufacturing in South Africa. It promotes localisation by partnering with participants in the manufacturing ecosystem, on both the supply and demand side, to deliver on its mandate. LSF funds industry research and deploys technical expert resources in an effort to accelerate or unblock opportunities for growth in the manufacturing sector.
