Localisation Support Fund Launch

The Localisation Support Fund (LSF) officially launched its operations with an industry Round Table, bringing together key stakeholders to introduce its mission and strategic approach to advancing local manufacturing in South Africa.

The event outlined LSF’s role in identifying high-impact localisation opportunities, funding industry-led research, and providing technical expertise to strengthen value chains and support sustainable industrial growth.

As a non-profit company established in 2021 by private sector contributors, LSF is committed to promoting localisation by partnering with stakeholders across the manufacturing ecosystem—on both the supply and demand side. The launch served to highlight how LSF supports evidence-based decision-making, unlocks growth potential, and collaborates to build a more competitive and inclusive manufacturing sector in South Africa.
